A dreamy brave nerdy girl

Since my undergradute last class ended, I've been thinking of the past three years in New York.
How I am a brave girl to come to NY which has nothing belongs to me; friends, family, even language....
My goal was 'studying' when I decided to come to NY, and I have been doing JUST 'studying Illustration' for past three years.
I'm still not good enough to be satisfied with my dreams, but I gained a lot of things.

Now, I have to do make a graphic novel which has to be over 60 pages during summer.
I've been thinking of what should I draw since I got a suggestion to do.
The half of my head has an idea of making it about My Seven ex- boyfriends' story, and another half want me to do 'My eighth boyfriend in the future'.

I'm trying to forget all about my country Korea for a while.
If I missed my country so badly, that helped me nothing to make this situation better....
I feel like being separated with my country little bit these days since I met Tom.

I don't know I could finish 60~80 pages of inking comic pages for 4 months,
but I'll try my best as always.

It is good for me to know what should I do for the future.
I'm pretty lucky girl.
but I still miss Soju.

I got a text last night that school's closed today because of the weather.

I'm looking forward to coming spring so badly since I've moved into this apartment which is about 5 blocks away from Central Park.

I supposed to be done the last piece of Tomer's personal piece today, but the printshop was close...

I wasted of my time all day with my pc, but I finised reading the three of my favorite books. (except Wonder Bear... It's a picture book!)

I am such a big fan of Jeffrey Brown - I read all of his comics!! They are super hilarious!!!!

I'm still reading the last part of American Widow which is illustrated by Sungyoon Choi who is one of my role models.

Allie and Rita's cat kookie came to our house last Sunday. ( Hey, Ms. Sima! please come back to NY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIGHT NOW!!!!!)

She wanted to be a member of our family, but my sister has fur allergy unfortunately...

We might have hard time to say goodbye to Kookie. - but Kookie still stays with us!

Call me if you have interests of adopting Kookie.

New project

My new project makes me stressful, but I think it is the last chance of my undergrad years that I make better work.

I'm still working on changing color seperations of the first and second pieces.

Which color should I use?- It is the only question that I have everytime I did new projects.

Tomorrow, I'll totally change the colors.

I hope my last vacation of the summer helped me improve my English skills.

I remember last april how much I was looking forward to having a loooooong summer vacation.

Two days ago, I got a 'Fall 2008 sticker' from SVA,and I realized that I have to get ready to go to the 'WAR' again.

My best friend Allie always said that " you are lucky cause you have one more year." and she finally decided that going to korea and japan to be an English teacher.

I had a lot of plans for this summer vacation, but I'm not sure I did all of them sucessfully.

However, I believe that this summer I gained a lot for my life.

also I lost few founds of my weight! - Is it good sign to be a skinny bitch??? haha.

My website is almost getting ready, but I'm still worried about it.

I should have made my business card after I making my website.- how fool I am.....

I'm so glad that I have one more year to attend SVA.

I can't believe I'm going to be a student of amazing artists in New York for next year!

and I'm also excited that I'm going to use illustration senior studio!!!^^

I hope I'm doing good for next year and always wish me luck!
